Catherine Gordon
Associate Trainer, Consultant, Speaker
Catherine is a highly experienced school leader, having previously been a Deputy Headteacher at two Secondary Schools, a rural comprehensive and an inner-city Academy, and prior to that, an Advanced Skills Teacher.
With extensive experience in pastoral leadership, learning and teaching and student progress she understands the challenges of operational leadership, whilst driving strategic priorities. She has also been a designated safeguarding lead and successfully implemented inclusive policies in a range of schools.
She is passionate about mental health and wellbeing for both children and adults and taking a relational approach to learning and behaviour in schools. Her interest in neuroscience originated from a desire to understand how children think and learn, this has since developed into a fascination with the plasticity of the brain and the potential for connected relationships to make a huge difference to people's lives.
Catherine recently joined KCA as Director of Learning.
